The study examined ““Assessment of Public Relation Practices for Enhanced Services in University of Abuja Library”. The research design adopted was the survey method using questionnaire as instrument for data collection. The population of the study is 125, but the sample was 100. However, 100 questionnaires were administered to 100 respondents in which 6 were discarded due to incorrect response. So the research used 94 valid questionnaires in the study. In the study, it was found that the most of public relation practices in University of Abuja Library are readers services, library display and exhibitions, and media activities; the majority of the library staff had moderate public relation towards their patrons and that the majority of the respondents were satisfied with the public relations practices in University of Abuja. Based on the findings, conclusion was drawn and recommendations were also given such as Every library staff, especially those in reference services Division, customer services Division, Serials Division and information and communication technology (ICT) respectively should be trained and retrained to possessed public relations strategies, such as interpersonal skills, Strategic marketing planning, communication skills, promotion strategies, customers behaviour skills, to serve as public relations point man of the library at all times and in all situation.
